Where are you located?

We are located a few minutes north of Woodinville, WA just west of the Paradise Lake Road exit on highway 522.  Our address is 20828 ~ 86th Ave SE, Snohomish, WA 98296.

Can we schedule a tour of The Carey Gardens?

Absolutely. Tours are available by appointment. By filling out our Contact Form you will receive a response within one business day with venue details and tour availability.  We ask you kindly not to visit without an appointment.

What dates do you have available?

The Carey Gardens Calendar and Availability is not published on our website since it changes frequently,

Our wedding venue is open from May through early October.  We are able to host weddings and events seven days a week.  Please fill out our Contact Form and we will reply within one business day to let you know of availability for any given date.

How much does your venue cost?

Our prices do vary greatly based on guest count and day of the week.  We do our best to offer venue packages to fit every budget.  For small gatherings, check out our Micro-Wedding Packages.  For larger events, please fill out our Contact Form and we will provide you with an accurate proposal based on your needs.

What is included with the venue rental fee?

Do you require us to use your vendors?

Not at all.  We are happy to work with any licensed vendor of your choice.  It’s your special day and you should be the one making the decisions on which vendors will best provide the wedding of your dreams.

The Carey Gardens offers a number of Optional Services that can greatly reduce the stress of contracting with multiple vendors.  We can also recommend local vendors for just about any special need you have.

What is your catering policy?

We have an open vendor policy.  This means you are free to choose your own caterer as long as they are a licensed business.  Sorry, DIY and potluck dinners are not allowed.  Food trucks are welcome too!  In every case, your caterer will need to provide enough staff to ensure proper food service and complete cleanup.

What is your alcohol policy?

We allow beer, wine and champagne at all times.  We allow hard alcohol in the form of two mixed “Signature Drinks” during cocktail hour.  We also require a licensed WA state bartender to oversee alcohol consumption.  You must obtain a Banquet Permit from the Washington State Liquor Control Board prior to you event.

Do you have restrictions on sound and DJ Services?

Technically, yes.  Our venue is located in rural Snohomish County and complies with all noise level restrictions in the county code.  However, we have ample space on our gardens to allow the DJ to play ceremony, dinner and dance music at a volume that is very enjoyable for guests.  We do require dance music to be lowered at 10 pm and turned off by 10:30 pm.  This gives you ample time to wrap up your event and send off your guests prior to the time the venue must be vacated.

Are there decor restrictions?

Once you’re here for a tour, you may find that you don’t even need to bring in much more than some beautiful florals to decorate with!  We do have restrictions that are in place to ensure that the venue stays in perfect condition for every couple who wants to remember their day as absolute perfection.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Absolutely.  We want to make sure all your guests can fully enjoy the facilities on The Carey Gardens. As such, we designed the entire venue to be handicap accessible.

Do you host more than one wedding a day?

No way!  We focus on you and want you to have the most amazing day of your life.  You can check in as early as 10:00am and stay until 11:00pm.

Do you have a designated parking area?

You bet.  We have complimentary onsite parking and can accommodate up to 150 vehicles in our field parking area.

Do you offer on-site lodging?

Not at this time. However, a Hampton Inn is located a few miles south of us along with numerous Airbnb hosts nearby.

What is the plan for inclement weather?

Please keep in mind that we are a seasonal outdoor only venue located in The Pacific Northwest.  The weather can always be a little unpredictable.  However, we are able to set up tables and chairs under cover for up to 200 guests.  We also have several covered spaces for our guests:  a gazebo with a fire pit, an outdoor bar with three fire pits as well as our food service area and dance floor.  In the event of rain, we also have 12 dozen umbrellas ready to go.
